In 2008, Dr.Ramdas Pai (Chancellor of Manipal Academy of Higher Education & Chairman Emeritus, Manipal Global Education Services) and ICICI came together to sow the seeds of a new partnership to create ICICI Manipal Academy. The fruits of the association was recognised by the banking industry and led to the creation of the Manipal Academy of BFSI.
